Giving Thanks at Work

Why is thanking an employee or co-worker so hard for some people? Is it because they couldn’t handle the task on their own and they are embarrassed about it? Is it just assumed that everyone is to do anything possible to make you successful because they are on your Team? Is it simply not in a person’s DNA to be thankful?

A simple thank you goes a long way with building office morale and enabling a Teamwork culture at work.

We are earning a paycheck so is it wrong for us to want to be thanked at work? I say not! It really demonstrates the character of your supervisor and coworkers when they show appreciation. I’m not referring to anything tangible – just simply the words, spoken sincerely, THANK YOU!
